FBI Seeks Woman Who Robbed Bank of America in Northwest

The FBI says a woman walked into a bank in Northwest and demanded money via a note before fleeing.

The FBI is asking for the public's help in finding a woman who robbed a bank in Northwest today.

The FBI issued a wanted poster for a black woman 5 feet 5 inches tall with a medium build who was wearing a black blazer, white shirt, black pants and was carrying a black backpack.

The FBI says that just after 11 a.m. May 23, she walked into a Bank of America at 4301 49th Street NW, approached the teller, and "demanded money verbally and via a note."

The woman then fled the bank on foot.

Anyone who provides the FBI with information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the bank will receive a reward of up to $5,000. You can report information to the FBI by calling 202-278-2000 or by calling the Metropolitan Police Department's tip line at 202-727-9099. Information can be submitted anonymously by texting 50411.
