Felony Murder Charge Filed In 2020 Fatal Shooting Of Northeast Woman
D.C. police charged a Northwest man on Thursday with first degree murder while armed- felony murder in the fatal shooting of Noelle Wilson.

WASHINGTON, DC — D.C. homicide detectives arrested a suspect Thursday in the 2020 fatal shooting of 31-year-old Noelle Wilson of Northeast in Anacostia, according to a police release.
Acting on a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant, police arrested 29-year-old Kavon Jackson of Northwest and charged him with first degree murder while armed- felony murder.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District responded round 2:54 a.m., on Oct. 11, 2020 for the sound of gunshots in the 2300 block of Green Street, Southeast. Arriving officers found Wilson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

D.C. Fire and EMS examined Wilson and determined that she had died. They later transported her body to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
