Fight At Lyon Park Business Leads To Injuries: Police Report
Arlington County Police are investigating an altercation that started at a Lyon Park business and led to two people being injured.

ARLINGTON, VA — An altercation that began Monday evening at a Lyon Park business became physical and left two victims injured, according to the Arlington County Police Department's daily crime report.
A victim in need of assistance flagged down ACPD officers around 5:40 p.m., in the 2700 block of Washington Blvd. Police determined that a dispute between multiple individuals inside a business had escalated, with one of the women involved producing a knife. The dispute became physical after the group moved outside.
The suspect with the knife waved it at the first victim, who fell to the ground. The suspect kicked her and a second victim tried to intervene, but she was struck with the knife. The woman with the knife fled the scene before police arrived. Both victims suffered minor injuries and the second victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

ACPD described the suspect as a Black woman, standing 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9, with burgundy mid-length dreadlocks. She was wearing a black mask, black shirt, and blue jeans.
This case remains under investigation.
