Fire Erupts At Georgetown Restaurant (Video)
A two-alarm fire has caused major damage and sent a firefighter to the hospital.

GEORGETOWN, DC -- A fire broke out at a Georgetown restaurant and threatened a flower shop next door Tuesday morning, causing heavy damage to the building and sending a firefighter to the hospital.
D.C. Fire and EMS tweeted just after 11 a.m. that they were responding to a fire in the kitchen of a one-story restaurant in the 3200 block of O Street NW. About a half hour later, firefighters requested a second alarm as the fire spread in the walls and ceilings.
Fortunately, firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading to the flower shop next door, although it appears it sustained some damage due to firefighters breaking into the building to contain the fire.
