On Friday November 8, the Sol Roots band perform with guest Mateo Monk ( who has worked with Thievery Corporation, Junior Marvin) and more at The Hamilton Loft in Washington D.C. for the official afterparty for Cris Jacobs, Midnight North show downstairs.

The Sol Roots band performs raw funk, greasy soul, energetic rock, deep blues, and hypnotic jams. Sol is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist who has toured with many roots, funk, and blues legends around the world as a part of Music Maker Revue. The Sol Roots band has shared the stage with acts such as Soulive, Jon Cleary, Cory Henry, Dumpstaphunk, The Wood Brothers, Roosevelt Collier, EOTO, Jackie Greene, Eric Lindell, and many more.

The afterparty will feature deep pocket drummer Vic Chase, bass master Mike Pryor, tasteful percussionist Chris Helms, Mateo Monk on guitar, flute, and vocals, Sol Roots on guitar and vocals, and some special surprise guests.
