Halloween Hours in DC; Here's When to Trick or Treat

Halloween is this Monday, and lots of children will be roaming about through area neighborhoods.

WASHINGTON, DC — Halloween is almost upon us as trick-or-treaters prepare to descend on area neighborhoods Monday night in D.C.

In D.C., there obviously isn't a set trick-or-treating time -- you can simply head out into the neighborhoods whenever you want. However, authorities advise that if you do go out, make sure you stay in neighborhoods that you know and have children accompanied by an adult. Generally, you should not trick-or-treat past 9 p.m. If you want to go out at dusk, the suns sets a little after 6 p.m. this Monday.

The weather forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies Monday night with temperatures in the 50s and a light breeze, as well as a small chance of rain.
