Hazmat Scare at DC Catholic School; 5 People Fall Ill
Hazmat readings have come up negative, but three patients were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

WASHINGTON, DC — A hazmat team was sent to a Catholic school in Northwest Tuesday morning after five people fell ill from an unknown cause.
The hazmat incident was reported at St. Augustine Catholic School at 1421 V Street NW sometime before 8 a.m. when the school opened. D.C. Fire and EMS reported on their official Twitter account at 7:50 a.m. that they were evaluating five people, and hazmat was taking readings.
At 8:06 a.m., D.C. Fire and EMS tweeted that hazmat had metered the entire building and come up with nothing.

Two adults and one child were taken to the hospital as a precaution, while the other two individuals refused treatment.
