Firefighter Injured After Huge Column Of Smoke Billows Over DC (Video)
The fire, which started on the roof of an apartment building at Logan Circle, was under control as of Thursday afternoon.

WASHINGTON, DC -- A large column of smoke could be seen over D.C. at around noon on Thursday.
The fire is near the intersection of Vermont Avenue and U Street NW on the roof of a four-story building, according to D.C. Fire & EMS.
