Huge Crowd of Protesters Shouts Angrily Outside Trump International Hotel in DC
The crowd chanted slogans against Donald Trump a day after the results of the presidential election.

WASHINGTON, DC — It was a madhouse in front of the Trump International Hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue in D.C. Wednesday night, just down the street from Donald Trump's new residence comes January after he defeated Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election the day before.
The crowds gathered in front of the hotel, which was just opened earlier this fall. Trump has said he will pass on the management of the hotels that bear his name to his children.
Thousands upon thousands of people all around the country gathered to protest Trump's perceived xenophobia, racism and sexism during the presidential campaign, and D.C. was no different. They didn't hold back: some of the chants were just as profane as the future president himself at times.
