If You Go: Washington Redskins Vs Carolina Panthers Parking, Metro, Traffic Info

The Redskins will be taking on the Panthers at FedEx Field in a Monday night matchup -- here's what you need to know before you go.

LANDOVER, MD — The Redskins are desperately clinging to the final playoff spot with the Green Bay Packers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers breathing down their necks, and they'll be hoping to maintain their position by beating the Carolina Panthers in a critical Monday night matchup. If you were lucky enough to snag some tickets to FedEx Field, here's what you need to know before you go.

Parking: Driving is probably your best option with the Metro shutting down early, although it will be quite the headache fighting the traffic, and parking is expensive. You can either prepay for a permit or pay in cash when you arrive. Permits are available from the FedEx Field ticket office. Parking permits are included for those who bought club seats or have suite season ticket packages.

Traffic: The Prince George's County Police Department will provide real-time traffic information for drivers headed to FedExField. You can follow @PGPDNews on Twitter for updates.

Metro: Metro is not an ideal solution for tonight's game, unless you live close enough to Uber. The last train departs at 11:27 p.m., and since the game starts at 8:30 p.m., you're unlikely to make that departure unless you leave before the game is over. If you do go via Metro, it is about a mile walk to the stadium from the Largo Town Center station or the Morgan Boulevard Station on the Blue and Silver lines.
