Islamic Relief USA distributes turkeys in Washington, D.C.

Islamic Relief USA (IRUSA), a nonprofit humanitarian and advocacy organization, partnered with the United Planning Organization to distribute turkeys at the Petey Greene Center, located at 2907 Martin Luther Boulevard SE, Washington, D.C., on Friday, Nov. 16. IRUSA has distributed thousands of turkeys to families and residents in need to help them celebrate Thanksgiving with halal turkeys. Turkeys were also distributed in: Cleveland, Ohio; Paterson, N.J.; Oklahoma City, Okla.; New York City; Dearborn, Mich.; and Providence, R.I.
