It's Christmas Already at the White House?

The White House has just selected its official Christmas tree from a farm in Wisconsin more than three months in advance.

WASHINGTON, DC — It may be only September, but the White House has gotten a big jump on Christmas by selecting the tree that will adorn the White House's Blue Room this December.

A Christmas tree from a farm in Wisconsin has been selected to be the official 2016 White House Christmas tree by staff members who visited the Wisconsin town of Oconto on Tuesday, according to a report from WLUK.

The staff chose a tree from Whispering Pines Tree Farm. That's no random farm -- Whispering Pines provided the official state Capitol Christmas tree in 2013.
