ARLINGTON, VA — President Trump may be overseas at the moment, but the District still had a presidential presence on Monday: Kevin Spacey, in character as President Frank Underwood from Netflix's "House of Cards," riding the Metro and visiting the monuments.
Spacey was in town to promote the upcoming fifth season of the hit show, which debuts on May 30.
President Underwood had quite a jammed-packed day, with pictures surfacing on social media of him riding the Metro, dining at Ben's Chili Bowl, and even getting his shoes shined at Union Station.
