Knife Assault Suspect In Logan Circle Case Arrested By DC Police

Metropolitan Police Department detectives arrested a Northwest man Monday and charged him assault with a dangerous weapon.

WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the Second District arrested a suspect in a knife attack that occurred Friday morning in the Logan Circle area, according to a police release.

On Friday, Feb. 28, around 11:50 a.m., the victim and suspect were involved in a conversation in the 1300 block of 14th Street, N.E. The suspect produced a knife and cut the victim, who was taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

On Monday, March 2, police arrested Angelo Nicholas, 28, of Northwest, and charged him with assault with a dangerous weapon (knife).
