Latest Snow Forecast: 2 Inches Expected Saturday In DC Area

Accumulation has begun Saturday morning, and the forecast is starting to look a little more solid.

The latest forecasts for the Washington, D.C. area on Saturday morning show that we're likely to get about 2 inches of snow, which will accumulate throughout the day and into the evening.

Areas south and east of D.C. are likely to see higher totals. Some localized heavier bands could develop, which could lead to totals closer to 4 inches.

All local counties and the District are currently under winter weather advisories. The National Weather Service actually revised its expected totals down this morning.
