Lockdown At GOP HQ After Vials Of Blood Received: Reports
Republican National Committee's headquarters in DC was put on lockdown after it received a package containing vials of blood, reports say.

WASHINGTON, DC — The Republican National Committee headquarters in Washington, D.C., was locked down for a time Wednesday morning after an unknown person sent vials of blood to the building, according to news reports.
U.S. Capitol Police responded around 7:45 a.m. to the building located at 310 First St. Southeast for the report of a suspicious package, police told NBC News.
Police cleared the package after determining it contained vials of blood, NBC News reported.

A police source told CNN the package contained two vials of blood, a Korean Bible and two ice packs. An all-clear was issued shortly after 9 a.m. ET.
A hazardous materials team is on site, and US Capitol Police is participating in the investigation.
