WASHINGTON, DC — It's almost here: the lighting of the National Christmas Tree on the Ellipse at President's Park, and the Lumineers, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood have joined an already star-studded cast who will be attendance.

James Taylor, Chance the Rapper, Kelly Clarkson and Yolanda Adams are already confirmed performers for the Dec. 1 lighting ceremony, which will be telecast on the Hallmark Channel on Dec. 5.

"An American holiday tradition started by President Calvin Coolidge in 1923, the National Christmas Tree Lighting is a great example of the countless ways there are to #FindYourPark," a statement notes.
