Lyft To Pay 50 DC-Area People To Go 1 Month Without A Car
The rideshare service is allowing area residents to enter into a drawing until the end of the month.
WASHINGTON, DC — Sick of driving in D.C.-area traffic? Lyft may give you a one-month reprieve if you win a special drawing.
Local residents can enter into the drawing from now until Sept. 30, and whoever wins will get $300 worth of Lyft Shared credit, a Zipcar membership with $100 credit, a one-month Metro pass, and a one-month Capital Bikeshare Membership.
"See how it takes all kinds of wheels to make city travel easy (and help reduce traffic congestion and carbon emissions along the way)," DitchWithLyft.com states. "Enter the 30-day #DitchYourCar challenge and leave your car at home for your chance to win."

The sign-ups began on Sept. 26, but you have until 11:59 p.m. PST on Sept. 30 to throw your hat into the ring.
All you have to enter is your first and last name, as well as an email address.
