Who Faces The Greatest Risk From Listeria?

Listeria infections can cause severe illness, particularly in young children, older adults and people with weakened immune systems. Infection during pregnancy can lead to miscarriage, stillbirth or other serious complications.

Symptoms can include high fever, severe headache, nausea and abdominal pain.

No illnesses had been reported as of Lidl's Oct. 16 recall announcement.
