Major Metrobus Accident in Northwest DC, 7 Taken To Hospital: Police
Police requested a mass casualty dispatch on Georgia Avenue Monday.

WASHINGTON, DC — Authorities say seven people were injured after a major Metrobus accident in Northwest D.C. on Monday.
D.C. Fire and EMS tweeted at 11:54 a.m. that a Metrobus accident at the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Bryant Street NW resulted in a "Mass Casualty dispatch requested."

Medics are currently evaluating at least seven patients, and the public information officer is en route.
A later update indicated that there were seven minor injuries -- five adults and two children -- and that mass casualty resources had been cancelled.
