Man Gunned Down In Southeast Washington: Police

A 22-year-old man died in a shooting in Southeast Washington early Wednesday morning, police said.

WASHINGTON, DC — A 22-year-old man died in a shooting in Southeast Washington early Wednesday morning.

The shooting occurred in the 1200 block of W St., SE. at about 1 a.m. Arriving officers located Kenneth Ronald Davis Jr., of DC, in the 2300 block of Green St., SE. suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Davis was taken to the hospital where he died, police said.

Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest and conviction of those responsible for the shooting.
