Man Dies In H Street Shooting: Police

WASHINGTON, DC — A Southeast DC man died in a fatal shooting on H Street Friday night, police said.

Andre Jahmal Johnson, 42, was shot in the 5000 block of H Street at about 9:45 p.m. Friday. Arriving officers located Johnson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, police said.

DC Fire and EMS transported Johnson to an area hospital where all life-saving efforts failed.
