Man Dies In Hit-And-Run In DC: Report
Police believe a man, possibly homeless, was hit by a vehicle on New York Avenue.

WASHINGTON, DC -- A man has been killed after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene on New York Avenue in Northeast D.C. Monday morning, according to a report.
WTOP reports that the incident happened in the 1300 block of New York Avenue at around 1 a.m. Police found the body of a man, possibly homeless, in the eastbound lanes with head trauma.
Authorities shut down New York Avenue for hours as they investigated. It reopened at 4:45 a.m.
