Man Flees Scene After Crashing Stolen Vehicle: DC Police
D.C. police are looking for a man who they say crashed a stolen vehicle Monday morning, before fleeing the scene.

WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the First District are asking the public's help in identifying a man they say stole a vehicle and left the scene of a crash Monday morning in the H Street Corridor, according to a police release.
Officers from the First District responded around 8:35 a.m., for the report of a single vehicle crash in the 800 block of 6th St., N.E. Police found a vehicle had crashed into a building causing extensive damage. The driver had fled the scene before police arrived. Following an investigation, MPD determined the vehicle had been stolen on Monday from the 600 block of Massachusetts Ave., N.E.

Police asked anyone who can identify this man or has knowledge of this case to call 202-727-9099 or text a tip to 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered by Crime Solvers of Washington, D.C., for anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and indictment of any person responsible for a crime in the District.
