Man Sought In Assault With Intent To Kill Offense In Congress Heights
D.C. police released surveillance photos of a man wanted in connection with a shooting Tuesday night in Congress Heights.

WASHINGTON, DC — Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department released surveillance photos of a man wanted in connection with an assault with intent to kill (gun) offense that took place Tuesday night in Congress Heights, according to a police release.
The victim, who was suffering from a gunshot wound, told police that around 9:18 p.m., he was approached by the suspect in the 2900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, Southeast. D.C. Fire and EMS took the victim to the hospital, where he was treated for life-threatening injuries.

MPD is currently offering rewards of up to $10,000 for anyone who provides information that lads to the arrest and conviction of a person responsible for a violent crime in the District.
