Man Stabbed To Death In Park View: DC Police
Homicide detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred Thursday in Park View.
WASHINGTON, DC — Homicide detectives with the Metropolitan Police Department are investigating a fatal stabbing that took place Thursday morning in Park View, according to a police release.
Officers from the Fourth District responded around 4:16 a.m., to the 600 block of Lamont St., N.W., for the report of a unconscious person. Arriving on the scene, they discovered a man suffering from an apparent stab wound. D.C. Fire and EMS examined the man and determined he had died. He was later transported to the Office of the Chief Examiner.
MPD identified the deceased individual as Jamaul Crockett, 36, of no fixed address.

MPD is currently offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any persons responsible for committing a homicide in the District. Police ask anyone with information about this case to call 202-727-9099 or send an anonymous tip by text to 50411.
