Massive Delays Across Metro System Due to Signal Problem

WMATA reports that all stations are experiencing delays of up to 20 minutes Thursday morning.

The entire Metro system is experiencing huge delays because of a signal problem that cropped up Thursday morning.

WMATA reported on its official Twitter account at 9:41 a.m. that there are delays of up to 20 minutes system-wide due to a "signal problem," and that riders should "allow additional travel time."

UPDATE: Metro reported that normal service had resumed at 11:39 a.m.
