Major Security Presence at DC Trump Hotel Friday After Two Nights of Protesting

Donald Trump's shocking election over Hillary Clinton has sparked protests nationwide.

WASHINGTON, DC — Protesters flooded the plaza in front of the newly opened Trump International Hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue for two nights straight after Donald Trump's shocking victory over Hillary Clinton on Election Day, and security is heavy around the property as the third night approaches.

Currently, there aren't many protesters at Trump International Hotel, but there is a lot of security, based on images posted to social media. One picture even shows Secret Service barricades that have been vandalized by protesters.

Protesters have gathered around the country in anger over the election of Trump, has been criticized as a sexist and a racist. Protesters are already planning a major demonstration in D.C. on Inauguration Day, which is set for Jan. 20, 2017.
