MD Man Charged In Kenilworth Homicide: DC Police
D.C. homicide detectives charged a Maryland man Wednesday in connection with the fatal shooting of 48-year-old Elias Flores.

WASHINGTON, DC — Homicide detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department made an arrest in connection with the Nov. 18 fatal shooting of 48-year-old Elias Flores, of Adelphi, Maryland.
Around 1:50 p.m., on Nov. 18, police say a man entered a residence under construction in the 1600 block of Olive Street, N.E. After brandishing a firearm, he fired a shot at the Flores. The man then took property from the residence and fled the scene. Flores was transported to a nearby hospital to receive treatment, but he succumbed to his injuries on Nov. 23.
Acting on a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant Wednesday, members of the Capital Area Fugitive Regional Task Force arrested George Miller, 26, of Capitol Heights, Maryland, and charged him with first degree murder while armed.
