Metro Disruptions This Week: Nov. 12-18

If it's a day ending in Y, there's going to be some issues somewhere on Metro tracks. So what can you expect this coming week, and what contingency plans should you have in place? This handy guide will help you prepare for any Metro problems.
DISRUPTION OF THE WEEK:
NOV. 12
AFFECTED LINES: Blue, Yellow

WHAT: No Yellow or Blue line trains will travel between the Braddock Road and Pentagon City stations, and the Reagan National Airport and Crystal City stations will be completely closed.
WHY: Metro is improving/upgrading several switches outside Reagan National Airport and installing new concrete pads beneath the rails along the aerial structure at the station. The work began on Nov. 9 and will wrap up on Nov. 12.

Express shuttle bus service will operate between Franconia-Springfield and Pentagon and between Braddock Rd and Pentagon from 5 a.m. until 8 p.m. Friday and Monday.
