Metro Employee Leaves Train Sitting at Fort Totten Because Shift Was Over: Report
A supervisor had to move the train, which was blocking other trains from picking up passengers at the station, according to a report.

WASHINGTON, DC — A Metro train operator reportedly walked away from his train at the Fort Totten Station on Sunday because his shift had ended, leaving the train sitting in the station with no one to operate it for several minutes.
NBC 4 reported that Metro officials were looking into taking action against the operator, who left his train at the station because he was off duty and forced his supervisor on the platform to operate the train, which was blocking any other trains from entering the station.
There was no one on the train at the time, and ultimately no impact to service, but witnesses said the incident lasted more than 10 minutes and prevented other trains from picking up passengers at the station during that time, NBC 4 reported.
