Metro Ridiculed For Unveiling New 'Swag' Shop
WMATA has unveiled an online shop for "Metro apparel and accessories," and D.C. locals are having some fun with it.

Want a pair of Foggy Bottom pants or an umbrella with a map of the Metro system map on it? You're in luck.
WMATA is opening up a store for "Metro apparel and accessories" at the Metro Center station, and you can shop online at wmata.com/Mshop.
Head to "The M Shop" website, and you'll see a guy in a trilby wearing a shirt that says "TRAFFIC? NAH BRAH."

But wait, there's more:
It's an interesting move for Metro, coming at a time when ridership is plummeting and the agency is more unpopular than ever because of constant delays and issues with fire breaking out all throughout the system.

As a result, many locals were quick to ridicule the new shop.

WMATA can't make the trains run on time or stop the tracks from catching on fire, but they did design a fashion line https://t.co/WrPtABRzAJ pic.twitter.com/XSOMhG4hGC
