MetroBus Crash Injures 7 People In Northwest Washington, Police Say
A double-length Metrobus crashed into several parked cars in the 600 block of H Street NW., injuring seven people, officials said.
WASHINGTON, DC — Seven people were injured after a bus narrowly avoided crashing into a building near the Capital One Arena, formerly the Verizon Center, on H Street. The driver hit multiple parked cars in the area, DC Fire and EMS officials said.
The double-length DC Metrobus crashed into several parked cars at about 12:30 p.m. Sunday in the 600 block of H Street NW.
No life-threatening injuries were reported by DC Fire & EMS.

According to NBC Washington, the driver drove over a steel construction plate that gave way. The driver lost control and hit the parked cars.
