Mike Pence Bought Flowers From CVS For Valentine's Day: Report
The vice president was spotted leaving a CVS near the White House on Valentine's Day, sending social media into a frenzy of guessing.

Many of us have been there: it's Valentine's Day, and you suddenly realize you haven't bought your significant other any flowers. There's a rumor going around social media that the vice president was in just such a predicament on Wednesday and had to duck into a D.C. CVS store to make sure he didn't come home empty handed.
Some on social media are claiming to have spotted Vice President Mike Pence buying flowers at the CVS on 19th and Penn Street, just a couple blocks from the White House. There's even photos of what is allegedly his motorcade outside the store.
Twitter user @ursulafk posted the photo just after 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

The Twittersphere was quick to make fun of Pence.
"NO. The CVS? Mother deserves better," wrote Donna Crane, referencing the fact that Pence refers to his wife, Karen, as "mother."

Others reacted with disbelief. "No freaking way. Was the secret service there?" asked Lori G.
CBS White House reporter Jacqueline Alemany confirmed that it was Pence who left the CVS at 19th and Penn, although she did not say what he purchased.
Just spotted @VP exiting the CVS on 19th & Penn. Spectators say he purchased a Valentine’s Day gift for his wife. (don’t worry, I won’t spoil what the contents of the gift are @SecondLady)
