Murder Charge Filed In Fatal Shooting Of Sedrick Miller: DC Police
D.C. police arrested a suspect in the March 4 fatal shooting of 42-year-old Sedrick Miller of Northeast in the Langdon area.

WASHINGTON, DC — D.C. homicide detectives charged 27-year-old Jarrell David Harris of Southeast on Friday with first degree murder while armed in the March 4 fatal shooting of 42-year-old Sedrick Miller of Northeast, according to a police release.
Harris was arrested Friday by members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, who were acting on a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant.
On March 4, Miller was found by police suffering from gunshot wounds in the 2300 block of 18th Street, Northeast. Officers from the Fifth District of the Metropolitan Police Department had been called to the location around 8:30 a.m. for the report of a shooting.

An examination by medical personnel determined that Miller had died from his wounds. His body was later taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
MPD is currently offering a reward of up to $25,000 for anyone who supplies information that leads to the arrest and conviction of any person responsible for a homicide in the District.
