Murder Charge Filed In 2015 Fatal Shooting Of Alexandria Man: Police
D.C. homicide detectives arrested a suspect in connection with the 2015 fatal shooting of 50-year-old Pedro Melendez Alvarado of Alexandria.
WASHINGTON, DC — Oscar Ramos, 32, of no fixed address was arrested Wednesday in connection with the 2015 fatal shooting of 50-year-old Pedro Melendez Alvarado of Alexandria, according to a police release.
Alvarado and another man were found by police suffering from gunshot wounds around 8:15 a.m, on May 28, 2015 at Exit 1 of northbound DC-295. Metropolitan Police Department officers had responded to the location in Anacostia for the report of a shooting.
D.C. Fire and EMS transported the two men to the hospital for treatment, but Alvarado later died from his injuries, according to police.

Homicide detectives charged Ramos on Wednesday with first degree murder while armed.
