New Oyster Bar Opening In DC Near Union Market: Report
A former NFL player is behind the venture.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Tobias Dorzon spent a couple of years in the NFL as a player, but he's looking to make his mark in D.C. as a chef by opening up a new oyster bar near Union Market, according to a report.
The Washingtonian reports that the 33-year-old former player -- who has served as a personal chef to Washington Redskins players -- will open up Union Oyster Bar & Lounge at 501 Morse St. NE in the first week of September.
The restaurant will span 4,000 square feet and will offer oysters as well as seafood and brick oven pizza.

There will also be a whiskey bar and a wine bar, with hand-crafted specialty cocktails.
Another wrinkle is that the bar will have a late-night happy hour, like Old Ebbitt Grill, the Washingtonian reports. It will last from 10 p.m. until 1 a.m.
