Northeast Man Fatally Shot Sunday In Kingman Park Area: Police
D.C. homicide detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of 39-year-old Jerome Quigley Jr., of Northeast.

WASHINGTON, DC — D.C. detectives. are investigating the fatal shooting of 39-year-old Jerome Quigley Jr., of Northeast in the Kingman Park neighborhood, according to a police report.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department's Fifth District found Quigley, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, in the 500 block of 23rd Place, Northeast. They'd been called to the area around 5:39 p.m. for the report of a shooting.
Quigley was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries, but he later died.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call MPD at 202-727-9099. Anonymous tips may be submitted via the department's text tip line by texting a message to 50411.
MPD is currently offering a reward of up to $25,000 for anyone who supplies information that leads to the arrest and conviction of any person responsible for a homicide in the District.
