NY Man Arrested For Sex Trafficking Of Children Offense: Police
A Long Island, New York, man was arrested in D.C. after police said he arranged a sexual act with a child in exchange for money.
WASHINGTON, DC —Detectives from the Youth and Family Services Division – Internet Crimes Against Children Branch of the Metropolitan Police Department arrested a New York man Thursday in connection with a sex trafficking of children offense, according to a police report.
Steven Vinci, 26, of Bohemia, New York, traveled to a location in D.C., around 10:23 p.m., after arranging a sexual act with a child in exchange for money, according to police. When he arrived on the scene, MPD officers arrested him without incident.
MPD charged Vinci with sex trafficking of children.
