Obama Has Chosen This DC Neighborhood to Live In: Report
The Obama family will be sticking around a few years after the president's term is over.

It's long been known that the Obama family plans to live in Washington, D.C. for a little while after Barack Obama's second term as president ends this coming January, but until now it had been unclear where he would live.
As it turns out, the First Couple has chosen the neighborhood of Kalorama -- just across Rock Creek from Georgetown -- to be their home for the next few years as they wait for youngest daughter Sasha to finish high school rather than bolting straight back to Chicago, according to a National Journal report.
The Obamas will rent a home there just east of Massachusetts Avenue, the Journal reported, noting that it wasn't clear which house they would choose. The house would need to have plenty of privacy and security features, as well as space for the security personnel that will have to guard the location.

The neighborhood is home to many ambassadors from Britain, the European Union and a number of European countries, the report states.
Barack and Michelle Obama confirmed in a 2013 interview with ABC's Barbara Walters that Sasha would not be pulled from high school after Obama's presidency was over. She is currently attending Sidwell Friends School, which is up near Tenleytown.
