Oops: Robbery Suspect Forgets To Put Mask On Before Sticking Up Store in DC (Video)

His face is being broadcast to the public by D.C. police after he allegedly pulled a gun on a 7-Eleven cashier in Northeast.

WASHINGTON, DC — Police have an excellent picture of the face of a man who is accused of pulling a gun on a 7-Eleven convenience store cashier in Northeast D.C. last week, and it's all thanks to the fact that he forgot to put his mask on until midway through the robbery.

The man walked into a store in the 3700 block of 12th Street NE on Tuesday, March 21 shortly after 3 a.m. armed with a gun, according to a statement accompanying a video posted by the Metropolitan Police Department, which is embedded below.

As he is talking with the clerk, the man suddenly realizes he's not wearing his mask and pulls it down over his face, the video shows. Unfortunately, it wasn't nearly soon enough to keep the surveillance cameras in the store from getting a crystal-clear picture of his face.
