On Friday, March 15, the international gay circuit event, The Papa Party, will debut in Washington DC at L8DC nightclub.

The Papa Party first launched in 2011 in Tel Aviv by Eliad Cohen, an Israeli producer, actor, model and entrepreneur who -- with over 1 million Instagram followers -- is the third most followed Israeli personality, behind only Wonder Woman’s Gal Gadot and top model, Bar Refaeli.

His party is a combination of high energy progressive music, arranged by world-class DJs, with surprise performances interspersed throughout. Recent events have taken place in Paris, Lisbon, Sydney, Rio de Janeiro, Rotterdam and Lyon.

For the DC party, Cohen is partnering with local gay party producer Q, aka Mother Fantasy, of La Fantasy Productions. The 34-year old is a military veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

“I discovered my love for the dance floor while attending music festivals around the world," Q explains.

He began his producing career hosting private soirees in his penthouse apartment. They soon turned into invite-only after parties throughout DC.

“It’s all about creating a magical experience with exciting surprises that turn up the wow-factor and leave revelers craving for more,” he says.

His last five area events at L8DC – including his most recent “Sex Shop Party” during MAL weekend – sold-out within weeks and were peppered with nightlife glitterati like transgender model Amanda Lepore and actress Dominique Jackson from the hit FX show, “Pose”.

When Cohen approached Q with the opportunity to bring The Papa Party to Washington DC, he seized it. “I see Papa Party as the chance to put DC, the city I love, on the global party map.”

He has already enlisted world-renown DJ/Producer Danny Verde for the event and is working with a record label on a surprise performer.

"I have a lot riding on this as eyes from around the globe will be watching to make sure I do right by Eliad and The Papa Party franchise,” Q admits. “You better believe I will not let Papa down.”
