Paul PCS Football Players Selected to PSCAA All-Conference Team

The Public Charter School Athletic Association has released its all-conference high school football team as well as coach and players of the year awards. Five Paul Student-Athletes were among those honored. Four Students were selected as 1st Team, while 4 from the program made honorable mention. Please Congratulate the following Students:

LB
Traquann Dorn:
The vocal leader of the team and one of the hardest workers. He finished the season with 75 total tackles, 8 Tackles for loss, 2 Forced Fumbles, 1 Sack

DB
Isaiah Salter:
Heart and Soul of the defense and led all of DC in interceptions with 8 INT's, 63 Tackles, 2 Touchdowns and 520 rushing yards

Reone Thompkins:
A leader by example that gave 110% effort at all times. He finished with 34 Tackles, 3 Interceptions, and 12 Pass Breakups. "Most versatile and humble athlete I've ever coached" -Chris Jones

Reone Thompkins:
53 receptions for 810 yards, 6 touchdowns

OL
Devin Wiggins:
The workhorse of our Offensive Line. Only gave up 2 sacks the entire year on over 60 snaps

Head Coach Christopher Jones is especially proud that these young men were recognized by the league, especially with it being his first year and the youth of his players. Out of all the student-athletes honored throughout the District, Only one player (Reone Thompkins) was selected on both offense and Defense, this is a major accomplishment.
