Pedestrian Struck Near White House: Report
The pedestrian reportedly is in critical condition.

WASHINGTON, DC -- A pedestrian is in critical condition after being struck by a truck in the McPherson Square area in downtown D.C. just a block from the White House on Friday morning, according to a report.
The Washington Post reports that the pedestrian -- a woman who was on foot -- was struck at 15th and H streets NW.
The woman was rushed to the hospital. One Twitter user who claimed to have witnessed the incident said the woman was unconscious and "bleeding from her head."

I was crossing at 15th and H st NW a little while ago and parallel from me a lady was hit by a truck. I know she had the walk signal. I saw a woman unconcious bleeding from her head. I am praying this woman remains alive, healthy and whole. I am shook. #VisionZero
