Police Find U-Haul Truck Filled with ATM Machines in DC: Reports
Authorities are trying to determine if they're connected to a series of ATM machine thefts in Prince George's County.
WASHINGTON, DC — The Metropolitan Police Department found an abandoned U-Haul truck filled with ATM machines on Monday, and they're trying to figure out where they came from, according to a report.
WJLA reports that D.C. police are working with authorities in neighboring Prince George's County to figure out if some of the five machines found in the truck at 2021 38th Street SE came from there.
The U-Haul was reportedly blocking parking spaces at the location. Investigating police officers took a look inside and saw at least four ATM machines and a safe.

A number of ATM machine thefts have been reported in Prince George's County lately, so authorities are hopeful they've found the stolen equipment.
There is not yet any word on whether police have suspects in this case. The investigation into the thefts and the origin of the machines is ongoing.
