Police Looking For Hit-And-Run Driver In Southeast DC

WASHINGTON, DC — The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public's assistance in locating a driver involved in a hit-and-run at the intersection of 19th and Q Streets, SE.

At about 4:50 a.m. April 18, a pedestrian was crossing 19th Street, SE, when a white truck turned left and struck the victim, police said. The truck sped away from the scene and the victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries.
