Raccoon Hops On DC Bus (Photo)

WASHINGTON, DC -- Even the wildlife likes to take a visit to the National Mall to check out our world-class museums and monuments. This raccoon was spotted taking the D.C. Circulator bus on the National Mall route.

The little furry critter can be seen in the photo embedded below popping his head up from the back of the bus.

It was undoubtedly a much more comfortable ride than for a raccoon that hitched a ride on a garbage truck in Arlington, Va. last year.
