Racially Charged Graffiti Found on Howard University Campus
The perpetrators appear to be students angry with the president of the university for meeting with Donald Trump on Tuesday.
WASHINGTON, DC — Students at Howard University, apparently angry at the decision by leadership to meet with President Donald Trump today, have spray-painted graffiti on campus to express their disapproval.
One piece of graffiti is spray-painted on the sidewalk and reads: "Welcome to the Trump Plantation. Overseer: Wayne A. I. Frederick," referencing the president of the school.
Trump met with dozens of leaders from historically black colleges and universities, or HCBUs, on Tuesday at the White House.
