Redskins President Is Least Trustworthy In Football: Agents' Poll
Bruce Allen landed at the bottom of the list when agents were polled about NFL teams and executives.

WASHINGTON, DC -- In the eyes of NFL agents, Washington Redskins President Bruce Allen is the least trustworthy executive in the league, according to a recent poll.
The poll, conducted by USA Today NFL columnist Jarrett Bell and reporter Lindsay Jones, asked 25 agents about things like which teams were most prepared during free agency, which decision-makers had the most respect, and other issues.
Redskins' ownership and management have always had a terrible reputation since Dan Snyder purchased the team, with numerous embarrassing personnel debacles over the years, and it appears that reputation continues to this day. Bruce Allen was dead last in trustworthiness, beating out Dolphins executive vice president Mike Tannenbaum, Broncos GM John Elway, and Bengals owner Mike Brown.

Just up the road from D.C. is the man who topped the trustworthiness list: Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome, followed by Patriots coach Bill Belichick.
In addition, the poll found that agents weren't impressed with how prepared the Redskins were during contract negotiations in free agency: the team was the third worst, behind only the Bengals and Browns.

Bruce Allen has overseen many personnel disasters since being named general manager of the team in 2009. His tenure started off with the firing of Jim Zorn, and then he was accused of ignoring NFL warnings to not use the uncapped season in 2010 as a way to create cap room in the future, resulting in the NFL hammering the team with a $36 million cap penalty split between the 2012 and 2013 seasons.
He oversaw the firing of Mike Shanahan and the downfall of Robert Griffin III. And most recently, he failed to lock up quarterback Kirk Cousins to a long term deal, allowing him to walk and eventually sign with the Minnesota Vikings.
