Rick And Morty Pop-Up Bar Coming To DC: Report

Proving that you can create a pop-up bar for anything, the new Shaw bar will be devoted to the popular Cartoon Network series.

UPDATE: The pub's opening has been delayed until Aug. 16.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Another wacky pop-up bar is coming to D.C. This time, it's going to be devoted to the popular Cartoon Network TV series "Rick and Morty," according to a report.

The Washingtonian reports that the "Wubba Lubba Dub PUB" will be located in the Shaw neighborhood at 1839 7th Street NW, and it will be open from Aug. 9 through Oct. 6.

Rick and Morty is a science-fiction comedy series that follows the adventures of alcoholic mad-scientist Rick and his grandson Morty as they travel through space and time.

The bar comes from Drink Company, the same group that created D.C. pop-up bars devoted to Christmas, the cherry blossoms, and even Game of Thrones.

Washingtonian reports that this bar will have two entrances: one for people who dress as Ricks, and one for everyone else.
